Solid 4th Quarter Albums

These albums are a little late, but here they are. Definitely need The Dream's CD, as well as Ghostface Killah's. Peace...

-Mannish

Too Short- Get Off The Stage* (The Bay Area godfather is back with a banging album. You'd think after ten studio albums he would lose his touch, but doesn't)

Gucci Mane- Trap-A-Thon (Put up by request. Enjoy)

Rick Ross- Trilla (The Mixtape)** (A must for any Rick Ross fan. This mixtape is hot and is a great preview for Rick Ross's upcoming Trilla, due in January)

Rick Ross- Port of Miami*** (An amazing album from an awesome MC. Put up by request, and because its a needed album)

Scarface- Made** (This H-Town rapper puts everything he has on this LP)

Styles P.- Super Gangster (Extraordinary Gentleman)** (NY style album. Solid CD with this one)

Mistah F.A.B. & G-Stack- Thizz Nation 18* (Some Bay Area hyphy, ride the bus shit with this LP. Mac Dre would be proud of this one)

Timbaland- Remix & Soundtrack Collection** (An amazing album of most of his hits from the last ten years or so. It also has some great tracks from some soundtracks)

Ghostface Killah- The Big Doe Rehab** (Gonna be a classic Ghost album. A must download for any fan of Wu-Tang or Killah)

Hi-Tek- Hi-Teknology 3** (Wow, this guy disappears for about four years, and comes back stronger than ever. Talib is all over this album. Check it out)

Mobb Deep- The Infamous**** (These guys beleive it or not, used to be an amazing Hip Hop duo. Since then they've lost their touch and are signed to G-Unit now. Regardless, this album is classic)

N.W.A.- Straight Outta Compton (20th Anniversary Edition)* (Some real Hip Hop from the late 80's to mid 90's)

OneRepublic- Dreaming out Loud*** (Not the normal FMB type album, but these guys have some talent)

Busta Rhymes & J Dilla- Dillagence** (R.I.P. J Dilla. This album is hot)

Gucci Mane- Back To The Traphouse* (Nice album here. Gucci loves talking about the trap and makes sure to rep it to the fullest by putting the word trap in all of his album titles)

Common- Thisisme then (The Best of Common)** (Has some great hits on this CD)

Eazy-E- Featuring Eazy-E*** (Dope West Coast heat album. This guy had some talent. His son, Lil' Eazy E has an album dropping sometime in 2008. Be on the lookout)

Bow Wow & Omarion- Faceoff* (These two collaborate to create a nice album)

Video of The Week- Kia Shine- Wow (A lot better song than "Krispy.")

Rick Ross Featuring R. Kelly- Speedin' (Hottest song now has a pretty terrible video. They really could have done a better job with this one.)

4.12.07

Just starting to heat up...

It may be winter wherever you are, snowing, raining, or just plain cold as fuck. These songs come at a perfect time for any one suffering from cold weather syndrome (cws.) That doesn't even exist. Regardless, this post has some smokin' tracks from One Republic ("Apologize"), R. Kelly & of course Lil' Wayne. Peace...

  • Mela Machinko- Patron* (Funny song about Patron on this one. J. Clyde is the only one who will actually like this song. Try it out)

  • R. Kelly- Crazy** (Not on his latest album "Double Up." He has his court date for the sex with a minor coming up within the next few weeks. For him or against him?)

  • Lupe Fiasco- The Coolest**** (This guy has reached Kanye's status as a premier artist. Buddy of mine is moving in next door to this guy in an apartment in Chicago. More details to follow soon. Also, not going to post his album, The Cool, you guys gotta go get this one. Its out in two weeks)

  • Jha Jha Featuring AZ- I See U**** (Jha Jha teams up with a legendary NY MC, AZ, to create an instant east coast classic. She is actually a pretty sick lyricist)

  • Sadiq- Give It To Me**** (Wow. Don't know much about this guy. Independent artist, who is currently unsigned. After hearing this, you'll be wondering why he isn't)

  • One Republic- Apologize** (In case you didn't already have the original (not Timbaland) version. This guys can sing)

The Dream- Falsetto (Dope new track and video off this major producer album, "Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter"

The Kingdom- Original Soundtrack* (This soundtrack is EPIC. Seriously, it gets you fired up)

Video of The Week-
Dolla - Who The Fuck Is That (Feat. T-Pain & Tay Dizm)

Rotem is ripping it up

Jonathan "J.R." Rotem

You gotta love what Jonathan "J.R." Rotem is doing right now. He produced a bunch of tracks for Britney a few years back. He was born in South Africa to Jewish parents and has since been involved in music. He produced Freeway's new song "Take It To The Top" Featuring 50 Cent, and produces two tracks on this post. This guy is awesome. Might even be able to keep up with Timbo.

  • Ludacris- Ludacrismas* (Off the soundtrack for "Fred Claus," which Ludacris stars in. Tight beat. The chorus kind of kills it, but Luda's verses are sick and save the song)

  • J.A.- Protools Gangsta* (Sick beat. Don't know anything about this guy but his flow is tight. Let me know what you think of him)

  • The Pack- Rumble* (Such an underrated song. Doesn't get enough cred. One of their tightest songs)

  • Woodie- Norte Sidin'** (Some classic 90's bay area Hip-Hop. Has a Pack vibe to it. Real tight. Shout out to T-Mac freezin his ass of in VT)

  • Woodie- Norte Sidin' II* (The second part to the original track. Came out nearly 3 years after the original. This guy was a Hispanic rapper from Antioch. 8 months ago he committed suicide. R.I.P. Woodie)

Video of the Week- Freeway - Lights Get Low (Feat. Rick Ross & Dre) (Had this song on the last post. Its such a hot song with a hot video)
