Back from a prolonged break, back for good now. The site will soon move to a new address, stay tuned for that, thinking a .com (no more blogspot bullsh%t). Here's a nice 12 banger to get a taste of what's to come in 2012 for FMB. Relocating to the Chi City in a few weeks, so hoping to get more of that on the site this go around. Also, will include an art/cultural section, which is essentially going to be labeled under the SWAG category. SWAG will be rated on a 1-5 scale, 1 being LMFAO's level of swagness vs Based God (Lil B)'s at 5. Every so post, a new feature; Scurfus corner will incorporate 2-3 mixtapes/CDs that should be in everyones music repertoire. If you guys have any suggestions, leave them in the comments section. Freeway- Rocket Ship Rap** (Free is in fact 'Free at Last' as this is one of the new tracks leaked from it. Give this a look, some old-school Philly flow to this one)

The-Dream- Let Me See The Booty (Feat. Lil Jon)**** (Wow, just can't sum up the amount of perfection that producers have here with this banging song. Get this)

Daz Dillinger- I'm From The Hood**** (Swizz Beatz did the track and man did he lay it down. One of his best instrumentals I've heard in a while. If you were a fan of 'That Oprah' by Swizzy, then give this a look)

T .I.- Ready For Whatever*** (This song is far my personal favorite off 'Paper Trail.' Drumma Boy did the beat and man can this guy produce. My current favorite producer in the game. Wow)

Chris Focus- California Soul*** (Samples the Docker's ad where the GG bridge and the Transamerica building are shown. This rapper straight kills this song. Give this a try if you're from the Bay or if you just wanna get reall hyphy. Yeah, hyphy is still alive)

Been out of the game for too long my friends. Tons of hating, like I'm talking a lot. So, you guys who left all those negative comments, don't fucking visit this site anymore and have fun with your wack ass music from other places. The new system is going to be 2 song posts per month. In addition to this, Tha Scurfus is going to be helping me out once a month with the mixtapes and albums. He will have his own section, 'Tha Scurf Corner' and he will handpick his top 5 mixtapes for that month. I recommend checking it out, as Scurfus has his mixtape game on lock.

Enjoy this post, the first post of June will be coming before the 10th with some bangers. All of the tracks in this post are banging and have been waiting to burn some speakers up. You need this track. His mixtape, 'The Mixtape about Nothing' drops May 30th, so expect a special post just for that mixtape on the 30th)

The Cool Kids- Oscar** (Remember when I had these guys up here nearly a year ago. Well they blew up and now have all kinds record deals, and concert series lined up. They are currently on a national tour and would recommend checking the dates and getting to see this dynamic duo. This track bangs and has enough bass to shatter windows)

DJ Khaled Featuring Akon, Rick Ross, Plies, Trick Daddy, Lil' Boosie, Lil' Wayne and Ace Hood- Out Here Grindin (Produced by The Runners)**** (As annoying as Khaled can be, he does a great job with this group of artists. A must have)

The Fixxers- Worldwide AM** (The duo, DJ Quick & AMG, who had the hit single 'Can You Work Wit Dat,' are back with another tight track. Give it a look)

R. Kelly- Bobble (Produced by Mysto & Pizzi)** (Love these two producers, and Kels does a great job of showing his experiences at the club. Let's just hope the girl he's talking about is over 18. Sorry Kels, it was too easy. Should have thought of that before you made a video)

Lil' Wayne Featuring Kanye West- Lollipop (Remix)****^^^**** (Been out for a few weeks, but in case you haven't heard it, Kanye rips the track up. One of his best lyrical assaults of all time. Weezy's two new verses are also fire. He just does his thing)

N.E.R.D. Featuring Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco & Pusha T- Everyone Nose (Official Remix)**** (Who else but Pharrell to do his own remix and turn it into a much more banging track than the original. Has a Jay-Z 'La La La' sound to it. If you don't know what that means, this song equals fire. A summer banger)

Ja Rule Featuring D-Lyfe- Love Me No More (Remix)* (Ja is back and does his thing on 2 verses with newly signed to Murder Inc. rapper D-Lyfe. Give it a look)

Wale- The Crazy** (Quality isn't the greatest, but this is one of the most lyrical songs out right now. This guy is a genius)

Mistah Fab- Umm Hmm (Prod. By Traxamillion)** (A brand new hyphy track here. You know Trax is gonna bring it. Fabie Davis goes super dumb on this track)

Tyga Featuirng Lil' Wayne- California Love*** (Tyga, who has who worked with the Pack and Young Squad, just singed to Lil' Wayne's record company 'Young Money Entertainment.' He's straight nasty. Has a little bit of Weezy flare, but has his own style of rhymes. All of his beats bump. A must have for any Californian, and any Weezy fan)

Young Jeezy Featuring Kanye West- Put On****** (Gotta be up there in terms of top possible summer anthems. Jezzy got Drumma Boy on the instrumental and Kanye on the third and final verse with the auto-tuner. For those who don't know what an auto-tuner is, its what Weezy uses in Lollipop to synthesize his voice. Needless to say, a must download)

Young L- Berries & Cream** (A song that gets its' roots from the funny Starburst candy adds with the leprechaun. Give it a look. Like what L is doing with his beats lately)

Ray J Featuring The Game- Where You At*** (A song that didn't get nearly enough attention, but is fire. Game does his thing on his verse, and DJ Quik helped out with the beat. Cop this)

Equipto- Angel**** (Wow, he just stepped his rap game up to another level. This Bay Area native really puts everything into it on this track. Expect a mixtape from him on the mixtape and album coming up)

Tay Dizm Featuring T-Pain & Rick Ross- Beam Me Up*** (Gotta love this track. T-Pain and Rick Ross really help this up and coming artist on this summer feel good song. A must have)

Yo Gotti Featuring Rick Ross- Miami****** (Love the instrumental, especially the 'I Wanna party in Miami tonight.' A banging club song. Give it a look. By the way, Ross tears it up)

Ray Cash- It's Me (Whop It Out)** (He uses different instrumentals for the verse and builds it up until the chorus. A masterpiece in my opinion)

Saigon Featuring Red 5ive- Believe It*** (A brand new single off of Saigon's upcoming album, 'The Greatest Story Never Told.' Having just left Atlantic for Just Blaze's record company, Saigon may be finally ready to get some recognition he deserves. For those who have been following this guy for a few years, this song is nasty and shows how far he's come. Anyone who hasn't heard this guy, you might wanna give this track a look)

Coldplay- Viva La Vida*** (Not really Finest Marin Beatz normal song, but this song is a msterpiece, and you can bet that their new album coming out in a few weeks will be up here. Let me know what you guys think of this track. They changed up their musical style and recorded most of this album in cathedrals and churches throughout South America over the past 14 months)

Smitty- Keep it 100******* (Wow, this guy can rap. This song is number three in terms of my favorites on this song post. A must listen)

Brooke Valentine- Badunkadunk*** (Wow, this beat is just nasty. Ladies, you'll love this track. Even fellas, give it a look)

Lil' Wayne Featuring Tyga & Gata- Stacks on Deck** (Wow, Weezy really puts all his skills into this song. Tyga does an amazing job, and this new artist Gata is just as good as Weezy and Tyga. A nice find for Weezy fans)

7. Yung Joc- I'm Retired***** (One of Joc's finest tracks since Hustlenomics dropped. He's not retiring, hes just doing so much work, and "hes tired, and his feet hurt, chasing that paper is a lot of damn work")

8. Hot Dollar- Upside Down**** (Guerilla Black's younger brother is ready for his album to drop within the next month. Really feeling this guy right now. One of his more mellow tracks. Give it a listen)

Been a while since the last post. Had to get some sun in Hawaii for a few days, down in San Diego for a weekend and now am back to bring you the first post of 2008. It was a good year people. Look for some serious improvements in 2008, as well as a new section at the beginning of each song post. The new section will be called “Bangin’ Selection.”

This post is part of a three-part series to usher in the new year. This first one is some older stuff, that I had stashed away. The second one will be pretty hot, and the third one contains some of the hottest songs yet.

1. Ying Yang Twins- Drop***** (Scurfus put it best, “This song is fucking unbelieveable.” It truly is. This will be a banger for Bar Mitzvah’s, dances, parties, you name it. Watch out for this one, and remember who gave it to you first)

2. The Game Featuring Juice & Ya Boy- So High**** (Hot song. Won’t this one anywhere else. Such a great westcoast track with Juice (repping NY) on it)

3. Flo-Rida- I’ll Be Cool*** (Wow, if you thought this guy needed featured artists with him to really shine, you were wrong, and this is proof. Hot track)

4. Mr. Biggs- Take This Shit To Trial** (A classic Southern banger from the mid 90’s. This guy has such a grimy flow. Gotta have this one)

5. The Cool Kids- Beeper*** (Gotta give credit to “Entourage” for turning me onto these guys. With that and Big Boytown's help I got this banging track from these guys. I posted some of their tracks over the summer, and now they are getting coverage in XXL, The Source & even Rolling Stone. Look out for the Cool Kids. Needless to say, this track bumps, as do all of theirs.

6. Three 6 Mafia Featuring UGK- On Sum Chrome***** (Pimp C’s last official recording. This is a classic Southern song. These two artists did a nice job of incorporating both citites Memphis & Houston into these hot track)

7. Nox Featuring Yung Joc- My Zone (Produced By Scott Storch)***** (This is an amazing track, and it just further proves why Scott Storch is still a mega-producer)

8. Clinton Wayne- The Yard*** (Really, really hot song. This guy is from 760 Bosco, CA, and makes sure to mention is hatred of hyphy and going dumb. Nice little track here)

9. Young L Featuring Lil’ B- All On My Dick*** (Two members of The Pack really tear it up on this hyphy track. A must for any Californian, and Thomas, you need to download this one bud)

10. Lil’ Jon Featuring Fabo (of D4L) & Gucci Mane- I’m A J**** (Just a good ole song about smoking weed all day, drinking at night, & just ballin it up. A must have. MUST)

40 Glocc Featuring Akon- Borrow U*** (A banging track. Akon took a break, but now he’s back appearing everywhere. 2008 is going to be a big year for Akon. 40 Glocc’s verses are mediocre at best, but Akon makes this track)

Muri Featuring Sahib- Monogamy Policy* (A blend of both house, electronic & hip-hop with this track. Look into these guys)

Young De- Can’t Blame Me* (A very little known LA based rapper. Sounds like a Dr. Dre beat. This guy has talent. Check him out)

Mac Dre Featuring Ray Luv- Young Black Brotha* (Put up by request, but it is also a solid old Dre track. Reminds me of summer time)

Picture of The Week- Lil' Wayne's mugshot (Wayne was arrested earlier today at the Arizona-California border. His bus was pulled over for an inspection and after dogs went nuts when on board the bus, DEA agents searched it. They found 3.7 ounces of marijuana, an ounce of coke, 41 grams of ecstasy, & more than $22,000 dollars in cash. His arraingment is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:00 A.M. At least we know that the Carter III will be coming out soon, anything beyond that, might have to wait a few years if Weezy is found responsible for all of this)

You gotta love what Jonathan "J.R." Rotem is doing right now. He produced a bunch of tracks for Britney a few years back. He was born in South Africa to Jewish parents and has since been involved in music. He produced Freeway's new song "Take It To The Top" Featuring 50 Cent, and produces two tracks on this post. Wycelf Jean Featuring Akon, Lil’ Wayne, & Nia- Sweetest Girl* (Guranteed to be a banger. Look at this line up of artists. Reminds me of “Perfect Gentlemen.”)

Chosen- I Luv That (Produced by an up and coming producer known as CT. Hot song, sick beat. Get this)

Samantha- Boyfriend* (Production behind this one is Darkchild, who was responsible for a fair amount of Timbaland songs back in the 90’s before Timbo starting making his own beats. Samantha is an R&B singer out of Australia, and she is gorgeous)

Milano Featuring Keri Hilson- Glamour Bitch*** (Definitely has a “My Humps” vibe to it. This song is crazy legit. Milano and Keri Hilson have numerous connections to Timbaland. The man who produced this track, Danja, was Timbaland’s right hand man on much of Timbaland’s album, “Shock Value,” as well as Justin Timberlake’s “Future Sex/Love Sounds. Check this song out)

Plies- Right and Wrong Way (This song may be nasty, it may not be Plies’ original beat (Pretty Ricky first sampled it), but as Plies says, “Go ‘head and let it go, I see your toes curl.”)

Isreal Featuring Fabolous- In Love With You (Hot R&B song with Fab to add some Hip Hop flavor)

Spliff Star- Nasty* (Scott Stortch did the beat. Spliff Star is Busta Rhymes’ right hand man. He has tried some solo ventures in the past, but finally he may have stacked his chips right, and he for sure has a hit here)

Rappers Lil' Wayne and Ja Rule are free men after separate arrests put them and members of their entourage behind bars Sunday night (July 22).

As SOHH previously reported, Ja Rule (whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins) and Lil' Wayne

(whose real name is Dwayne Carter) were both arrested on separate criminal weapons possession charges over the weekend after performing at New York's Beacon Theater. Both men were discovered in Manhattan's 20th Precinct in possession of .40-caliber handguns.

According to the New York Post, police say they stopped Rule's 2004 Mercedes Maybach

around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of West End Avenue and 78th street for having a suspended registration. The officers searched the vehicle after smelling marijuana and discovered a .40-caliber semiautomatic Taurus in a backseat compartment of the car. Police arrested Rule, as well as his 38-year-old driver Mohamed Gamal and another passenger 36-year-old Dennis Cherry.

Rule had to put up a $150,000 bond for his release. Sources for the NY Post said the rapper used his Saddle Brook, NJ mansion as collateral for the $320,000 combined bail money for him and his two associates.

Released yesterday (July 23), after spending 20 hours in custody, Rule told reporters, "Everybody wants to point finger at hip-hop for the destruction of America's youth. If you need to know why there is so much crime, corruption, hatred and violence, you need only look at yourselves," before plugging his upcoming album, "The Mirror, in stores Sept. 25."

Approximately an hour after hauling in Ja Rule, police approached Lil' Wayne's tour bus, which was parked at 61st Street near Columbus Avenue, and claim they boarded that vehicle after smelling marijuana.

According to NY's Daily News, police boarded the bus and discovered Derrick Lawrence of Brooklyn trying to flush half a pound of marijuana in the bus toilet. Lil' Wayne was changing as the officers entered the vehicle, and according to lead prosecutor Joan Illuzzi-Orbon, police discovered a .40-caliber Springfield Armory semiautomatic in a Louis Vuitton bag the rapper removed from his lap.

Weezy was released yesterday on a $70,000 bond.

Defense lawyer Stacey Richman, who represented both rappers, has called their arrests and enormous bails a "tax on celebrity." Richman also stated that Ja Rule's Mercedes is a company car and that the gun could have belonged to any number of users.

"We absolutely maintain that we are not guilty of these charges," Richman said, of both clients.

If convicted, both rappers may face up to three and a half years in prison due to NY's strict new gun laws. Rule and Weezy are due back in court on Friday (July 27)

Reps for Universal Records- with whom both artists are signed - did not respond to SOHH's emails at publishing time.

She was pulled over Monday night for allegedly chasing a car through a parking lot at high speeds. Her blood alcohol level was .14, the legal limit in California is .08. In addition to this the police didn’t find cocaine on her until she entered the jail facility. Now she is being charged with one count of reckless driving, driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), & bring a controlled substance into a federal facility.

Picture of The Week- Remy Ma arrested for attempted murder (The story is her and one of her good friends hit up a pizza parlor late last Saturday night around 4:00 A.M. After that Remy Ma was like, "Yo, bitch, you owe me $3,000!" Her friend didn't have the money or had no idea what she was talking about. Remy, then pulled out a gun shot her friend in the chest, continued to search her friend's purse, then sped off in her black Escalade leaving her friend for dead. The friend received medical attention, and Remy Ma and her dented up Escalade was found 4 blocks away, crashed into a box of crates. She pleaded not guilty, and posted bail which was $250,000. Her later arraignment will come within the next month. For every one who doesn't know who she is, or should I say who she was, because shes pretty washed up, she was with Terror Squad back when they released the club anthem, "Lean Back." When things couldn't get gloomier for this girl's career, they do.)
